Our pay scales are very competitive with other powerline contractors in our region, and we offer a good benefits package as well. We have an excellent health insurance package available through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana after you have been employed for 90 days. KDM is a relatively small company. The owners of the company know everyone that works here, and they make regular visits to jobsites. Most of the time, our employees are required to work away from home. When you are on the road with KDM, all your basic expenses are paid. The company provides lodging in the form of a hotel room or travel trailer, and employees receive a per diem payment to cover meal expenses.
